Ingredients

  • ¼ cup coriander seeds
  • 2 tbsp gram dal
  • 2 tbsp urad dal
  • 5 cloves
  • 4 pieces cinnamon
  • 2 cardamoms
  • ½ tbsp oil
  • 10 guntoor dry red chilly
  • 7 byadagi dry red chilly
  • 1 tbsp dry coconut grated
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • ½ tsp fenugreek seeds
  • 1 pinch hing / asafoetida

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add urad dal, gram dal, pinch of hing and roast till its colour changes golden brown, keep on medium flame, stir in between
  2. Now add poppy seeds, fenugreek seeds, dry coconut, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and roast for a minute
  3. Add dry red chillies and roast for 30 seconds

  4. Add coriander seeds and roast for few seconds, then turn off the flame and allow it to be cool

  5. Now add all roasted ingredients into a jar and blend it to a fine powder

Recipe Notes

  • Store it in a tight container
  • If you want spicier you can add more chillies
