- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 onion medium size chopped
- 1/4 cup tamerind
- 1 cup fresh coconut chopped
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp red chilli powder
- 2 small pieces cinnamon
- 12 garlic
- 1 Tomato medium size chopped
- curry leaves few
- coriander leaves few
- 4 cloves
- 2 inch ginger
- 700 grams fish
- salt to taste
- water as required
In a jar add fresh coconut coriander leaves, ginger garlic, cinnamon, cloves and soaked tamarind.
Finally add required water and grind it.
Heat oil in a pan add onion and curry leaves saute for a minute.
Then add grinded paste, red chilli, coriander, , turmeric powders and add salt to taste mix well.
Now add tomato, 2 1/2 glass of water or as you required mix well and cover the lid cook for 5 minutes.
Now put fish.
Cover the lid and cook for 5 minutes.
Finally garnish with coriader leaves
- Serve after 4 hours for better taste
