Ingredients

  • ¼ cup moong dal soaked 30 minutes
  • 1 cucumber finely chopped
  • 1 carrot finely grated
  • ¼ cup coconut grated
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves chopped
  • 1 green chilli chopped
  • ½ lemon
  • salt to taste

For tempering:

  • few curry leaves
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • ½ tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 pinch hing / asafoetida

Instructions

  1. Drain water from moong dal and add to a mixing bowl, add grated carrot, chopped cucumber, green chilli, coconut, coriander leaves, and combine well

Tempering:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and splutter it, then add dry red chilli, curry leaves, hing and mix well
  2. Now pour tempering on kosambri and add lemon juice, salt to taste and mix well
  3. it is a healthy recipe you can prepare it in 10 minutes any time and serve

Recipe Notes

  • It has so much of health benefits and also used for weight lose
  • If you don't like tempering you can skip it, but it tastes good
