Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 cup rice flour
  • ½ cup wheat flour
  • ¼ cup curd
  • 1 pinch baking soda
  • oil for roasting dosa
  • salt to taste
  • Water as required

Instructions

  1. In a jar add cooked rice, rice flour, wheat flour 1 cup water and blend to smooth batter
  2. In a jar add blended batter, curd, baking soda, salt to taste, combine well, make sure there are no lumps and adjust the water to dosa batter consistency
  3. Heat a dosa pan, pour a ladleful of batter and spread in circular, spread 1 tsp of oil, keep on medium flame and cover the lid for 1 minute
  4. Roast dosa to golden brown colour, flip and cook for 30 seconds
  5. Fold and take out, serve crispy dosa with chutney

Recipe Notes

  • To make it more crispy and white in colour, add maida/plain flour.
  • You can also prepare uttapam with the same batter, pour dosa batter bit thick and add some toppings of onion, green chillies and tomato.
