Ingredients

  • 1 raw mango grated
  • 1 onion medium size chopped
  • few curry leaves
  • few coriander leaves chopped
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 glass boiled rice
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 2 tbsp groundnut
  • 1 tbsp gram dal
  • 1 tbsp green chili paste
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and allow to splutter it, then add groundnut, fry for 5 seconds, now add gram dal and fry till its colour changes to light brown
  2. Add green chilli paste, onion, curry leaves and fry until the onion will be soft
  3. Now add turmeric powder, salt to taste and mix well
  4. Add grated raw mango, mix well and turn off the flame. Don’t fry raw mango much because it will lose its taste
  5. Now add boiled rice and mix well, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot

Recipe Notes

  • If you don’t like onion you can skip it
