Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw rice
  • ½ cup poha
  • 1 cup butter milk / curd
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • 1 onion chopped
  • few coriander leaves chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as required

Instructions

  1. Take rice in a bowl and wash with water twice, soak in water for 6 hours
  2. Soak poha in butter milk for 10 minutes, before grinding rice
  3. In a jar add soaked poha and rice, then grind into smooth, do not add more water, it should be in flowing consistency
  4. Transfer in to a big vessel cover the lid and allow it to ferment for 12 hours. After 12 hours add salt and mix well

  5. Heat a pan pour a ladle full of batter and spread gently, spread chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, 1 tsp oil over the dosa

  6.  cover the lid and cook for a minute
  7. Now flip dosa and cook for 10 seconds. You need flip dosa, if you did plain dosa. Cook completely

Recipe Notes

  •  You can also use tomato and carrot
  •  Dosa is more tasty if use vegetables
