Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 potato boiled
  • oil for deep fry
  • ¼ tsp carom seeds
  • 1 pinch turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add boiled potato and mash it
  2. Now add wheat flour, carom seeds, turmeric and red chilli powder, salt to taste and coriander leaves mix well and combine all
  3. Add water little by little and knead to soft dough, cover it and rest for 15 minutes
  4. Pour 1 tsp of oil on the dough and knead it, make small balls
  5. Spread or dip dough ball in oil and roll it, make little thick puri
  6. Heat oil in a pan, keep on medium flame and fry puri in hot oil, splash oil on the puri so the puri will be puffy, fry both sides

  7. Take out from oil and serve hot with veg curry
