Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp dried coconut
  • 1 tbsp mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp chana dal
  • 1 tbsp urad dal
  • 3 tbsp peanut
  • 1 dried red chilli
  • few curry leaves
  • 2 cups boiled rice
  • puliyogare powder

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, urad dal, gram dal, peanuts and mix well, fry on medium flame till they turn brown. Now add red chilli, dry coconut and mix, finally add curry leaves and mix, turn off the flame and allow it to cool

  2. Add all the puliyogare powder and mix well, store it in a tight container and use when needed. It will be good for more than a month long. It tastes similar to temple style puliyogar
  3. Heat 1 tbsp oil and add 2 tbsp puliyogare powder, you can add more if you want, give a good mix

  4. Now add boiled rice mix well and serve hot
