Ingredients

  • ¼ cup sabudana
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 cup boiled whole milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tbsp cashews
  • 1 tbsp raisins
  • 1.5 tbsp ghee

Instructions

  1. Heat ½ tbsp ghee in a pan, add cashews and roast for few seconds, then add raisins fry ti it turns golden brown, take out and keep aside
  2. In the same pan heat 1 tbsp ghee and add sabudana fry for 2 minutes on medium flame, stir in between and allow it to cool
  3. Add 2 cup of boiled milk and 1 cup of water. You can add milk instead of water. Mix well and allow it to boil and stir occasionally, keep on medium flame. Boil about for 20 minutes until sabudana will be translucent
  4. Now add sugar and boil for 2 minutes, you can add more sugar if you want, then turn off the flame
  5. Now add cardamom powder, roasted dry fruits, and mix well. Serve hot or cold

Recipe Notes

  • Roast sabudana in ghee before you add milk, if you want to skip soaking .
  • You can use either sugar or gud for sweetening .
