Ingredients

  • 10-11 Tomatoes medium size chopped
  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 1.5 tbsp rasam powder
  • 1.5 tbsp chilli powder
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • few curry leaves
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard seeds, allow them to splutter, then add finely chopped tomatoes, turmeric, mix well and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame, keep stirring in between
  2. Now add salt, red chilli powder, curry leaves, rasam powder and give a nice mix, rasam powder gives extra taste.
  3. Cover the lid and simmer for 15 minutes on low flame, keep stirring in between
  4. Serve with hot rice

Recipe Notes

  • You can keep it 2 days long and enjoy.
  • Your can also use sambar powder instead of rasam powder.
  • If you store in fridge, it can be used a week long.
