Aloo Gobi Curry Dhaba style | Potato cauliflower curry

  • 300 grams cauliflower
  • 1 big potato chopped
  • 1 onion medium size chopped
  • 2 tomatoes medium size chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ cup fresh coconut chopped
  • 10 inch ginger chopped
  • 10 garlic cloves
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp coriander powder
  • Curry leaves few
  • Salt to taste


  1. In a jar add fresh coconut, ginger, garlic, clove and cinnamon, water grind to to smooth paste
  2. In a pan heat oil, then add onion, curry leaves, keep on medium flame fry for 1 minute
  3. Now add potato, gobi mix it and cover the lid simmer for 2 minutes then mix well
  4. Now add turmeric, salt, red chilli powder mix well. Keep on medium flame
  5. Now add grinded paste and mix well, add 1 cup water and mix well you can add more water if you want

  6. Now add coriander powder mix well and cover the lid, simmer for a minute
  7. Open the lid, mix well, now add tomatoes mix and simmer for a minute
  8. Turn off the flame and serve hot with chapati, roti, rice or paratha
