Veg fried rice | quick and easy fried rice

  • 2 cup basmati rice boiled
  • ¼ cup onions chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • ½ cup carrot chopped
  • ¼ cup cabbage chopped
  • ¼ cup coriander leaves chopped
  • ½ cup beans chopped
  • ¼ cup spring onion leaves chopped
  • 2 slit green chillies
  • ¼ cup capsicum chopped
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp red chilli sauce
  • 1.5 tsp soya sauce
  • 1 tbsp garlic chopped
  • 1 tbsp ginger chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • salt to taste


  1. Heat oil in a pan, add ginger, garlic, green chillies, fry for 10 seconds
  2. Now add onion and fry for 10 seconds, keep on high flame
  3. Add carrot, beans, salt and fry for 30 seconds
  4. Now add cabbage, capsicum, spring onion leaves, combine well and fry for 30 seconds
  5. Keep stove on low flame and add red chilli sauce, soya sauce, vinegar, mix well
  6. Add boiled rice, pepper, salt to taste, coriander leaves, keep on high flame and mix well then turn off the flame, serve hot
